Hitlers politischer Aufstieg war nur möglich, weil ihm von Anfang an Männer zur Seite standen, die seine Idee eines "neuen Deutschland" zu ihrer machten. In den Händen dieser verschworenen Kampfgemeinschaft lag nach der Machtübernahme die wirtschaftliche und kulturelle Leitung der Gaue sowie die politische und weltanschauliche Schulung der Parteigenossen und der Bevölkerung. Nicht nur als Gauleiter, sondern auch als Ministerpräsidenten und Reichsminister festigten sie die inneren Strukturen des Dritten Reiches.

"Männer und Maiden - Die Geschichte des Arbeitsdienstes"
Die lange vor Gründung der NSDAP entstandene Arbeitsdienstidee favorisierte das Prinzip der Freiwilligkeit und erteilte jeder Art der Gleichschaltung eine Absage. Neben Theodor Herzl, dem späteren Präsidenten der Zionistischen Weltorganisation, und dem Zentrumspolitiker Matthias Erzberger beschäftigte sich vor allem Konstantin Hierl mit der Idee. Nachdem 1933die Nationalsozialisten die Macht übernommen hatten, versuchten sie, den "Reichsarbeitersdienst" zu einer Gliederung der NSDAP umzufunktionieren.

"Die Wewelsburg - Weltanschauliches Zentrum der SS"
Ihre Geschichte zählt bis heute zu den Geheimnissen des Dritten Reiches: Die Wewelsburg, am 24. Juli 1934 vom Reichsführer SS Heinrich Himmler übernommen, war Kultstätte, Schatzkammer, Gruft und Weihstätte der SS. Was wirklich hinter den gewaltigen Mauern geschah und was die großen SS-Führer in den geheimnisumwitterten Gewölben planten, bringt diese Filmdokumentation erstmals ans Licht der Öffentlichkeit. Vieles blieb bis heute verborgen, nachdem die Wewelsburg am 31. März 1945 auf Himmlers persönlichen Befehl hin gesprengt wurde.
